Transparent by design
The model publishes one highest-ranked runner in every race. That is a selection, not a promise, and it does not mean the available price represents value.
Each available measure is ranked within that field, weighted, and combined. Missing data reduces confidence rather than being treated as a zero. If runners remain tied, the market acts only as a tie-breaker.

Recent form
Finishing-position evidence and recency, interpreted relative to the other runners in the same race.
Connections and readiness
Trainer form and days since the last run are used as supporting—not dominant—signals.
Market context
Available prices break weak-data ties and anchor any price estimate. A high ranking is never treated as a calibrated probability by itself.
A tip is recorded against the race before settlement. Losing selections remain in the record.
Tip Lab reports every result to a £1 win stake at the recorded available price, falling back to SP where necessary.
Probability and fair odds are withheld unless coverage, confidence and market data clear strict checks. A ranking alone is not a price.
The model is provisional until it has a meaningful chronological sample. Tip Lab exists so members can judge it from the full record rather than selected winners.
